Letters to #Ammerica is a weekly letter “sent” from Europe to the US in the aftermaths of November 8, 2016. It’s a personal take, based on my research experience in the South of US and Southern Europe, on cities, their policies, politics and institutional system.
Many of the ideas I’ll discuss were “generated”, so to speak, during the six months I’ve lived in Memphis, TN, thanks to a Fulbright grant (US – Italy Commission). Some of the feelings, ideas, visions, histories of those months are in the project Letters to Ammerica (which is in Italian, though).
Because the making of (urban) America shapes the making of Europe and beyond; and we are all involved.
